In 2021 the EMEA headquarter office was completely redesigned. After being located at Olympus Surgical Technologies Europe (OSTE) for 13 years, the OMTC got relocated into the newly built office, and transformed into E-TEC.
Now, in the center of Hamburg, the new setup, visible from the reception area, occupies the entire first floor across 2,500 sqm and offers 8 lecture rooms, 3 showrooms as well as 3 fully equipped wet labs amongst other areas.
The showrooms provide an overview of Olympus’ latest medical & surgical products and solutions in the context of a fully integrated OR.
The reprocessing area is equally realistically designed to demonstrate the holistic CDS solutions following European and several national reprocessing standards and recommendations.
E-TEC’s labs offer laser and x-ray application, as well as infrastructure for dry and wet lab training. In combination with state-of-the-art media technology, the overall infrastructure meets all future demands of training curriculum offerings.
